Job Description:

Corporate Communications is seeking a seasoned communications professional who will be responsible for developing and executing communications strategies which amplify Bank of America's Global Research platform and The Bank of America Institute. This includes coordination of a wide variety of communications activities using a multi-channel approach, managing integrated program planning, and tailoring communications related to specific business area dependencies and other audience needs. Works under the direction of a senior leader and in close partnership with Media Relations/Social Media partners to ensure consistency of internal and external messaging that supports business priorities.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute end-to-end communication plans with sound strategies; write and manage messaging and outreach for key initiatives
  • Drive thought leadership communications, building an audience internally and externally for the insights developed by The Bank of America Institute, a think tank dedicated to uncovering powerful insights that move business and society forward. Drawing on data and resources from across the bank and the world, the Institute delivers important, original perspectives on the economy, ESG and global transformation.
  • Create content in an executive voice, including speaking points and written messages, as well thorough executive briefings and prep documents for executive engagements
  • Organize initiatives and manage routines to drive effective planning and information sharing at all levels and across various lines of business
  • Manage targeted and enterprise-wide communications for various channels (email, articles, podcasts, talking points, town hall support, written announcements, blog posts, targeted employee messaging and resource guides, etc.)
  • Must be creative with ability to develop innovative solutions as well as proactive mindset and desire to consistently raise the bar
  • Effectively partner with colleagues and partners to maximize opportunities, manage issues, and develop holistic plans.
  • Help manage audience assessments, communication program measurement and impact analysis
  • Produce reports, craft meeting agendas, provide operations support assistance as needed
  • Stay current on emerging industry trends

Attributes, Knowledge and Experience:
  • Managing executive level relationships
  • Writing executive speaking points and written messaging
  • Working with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to pull out key themes/initiatives and drive integration
  • Delivering results and a practice of innovation to effectively engage audiences
  • Knowledge and experience with a Global Research function preferred

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum of seven years' experience in communications field
  • Demonstrated ability to create well-written, compelling content
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence
  • Ability to analyze results and produce meaningful and visually interestingreports/presentations
  • Ability to adapt to rapid changes in priorities, demand and industry capabilities
